Appraising -

The appraisal team consists of a number of dedicated volunteers selected by Challenge Masters, Regional Directors and the Affiliate director.  Appraisers hold roles in the central challenge, instant challenge and the score room.  Appraising is a lot of fun and in most cases allows a volunteer to view many challenge solutions! 

Appraisers are required to attend Appraiser Training which is held prior to the Regional Tournament each year.  Appraisers hoping to appraise at the Affiliate (State) Championship must first work at a Regional Tournament, and Appraisers hoping to be selected to attend and appraise at Globals must first work at the State Tournament. 

Names of those hoping to be selected to appraise at Globals must be submitted by the Oregon Affiliate Director in early December.  If you would like to be considered for nomination, please contact your Region Director or the Affiliate Director right away!
