In memory of Oregon DI Board Member, long time supporter, and friend El Dannen, Oregon Destination ImagiNation has established the El Dannen Memorial Scholarship. Each spring, one or more applicants who intend to begin or continue study at a community or junior college, college, university, or trade school in the following fall may be awarded a scholarship, based upon their demonstrated commitment to Destination ImagiNation and creative problem solving (“CPS”). Applications will be evaluated without regard to applicants’ financial need, GPA, gender, age, citizenship, sexual preference, or ethnicity. Applicants must be Oregon residents. Winners will be announced at the DI affiliate tournament, which all applicants are encouraged to attend.
