AUGUST - OCTOBER 2007

·         Register and purchase national DI membership on the web:  www.shopdi.org

·         Download challenges from web site:  www.idodi.org

·         Contact Region Director for your area to find out about training opportunities

·         Attend training when offered

OCTOBER - DECEMBER 2007

·         Training for team managers and assistants offered in each region of the state. Contact the Region Director or Affiliate Director listed below for more information.

JANUARY 11, 2008

·         National DI membership ($110 or $225 depending on membership type selected) must be received by this date

·         Oregon tournament registration forms and $125 per individual team ($50 for Rising Star teams) must be received by this date. (This registration is required to compete at a regional tournament.) Late fees of $50 per team will be assessed after this date.

FEBRUARY 23, 2008

·         Eastern Regional Tournament held in Baker City for both non-competitive (primary level) and competitive teams (grades 3-12).

MARCH 1, 2008 

·         Metro East/Metro West and Southern Regional Tournaments held in Milwaukie,
and Pleasant Hill (and possibly Hillsboro) for both non‑competitive teams (primary level) and competitive teams (grades 3-12).  The Hillsboro tournament is a second Metro area site, if registrations warrant.

MAMARCH 6, 2008  

·         For teams advancing to the state tournament, team and volunteer registration forms must be received by the Affiliate Director (forms only - no additional fees)

APRIL 05, 2008 

·         State tournament at Oregon State University in Corvallis

MAY 21-25, 2008 

·      Global finals at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee
